About Us
At Unlimited Care, Inc., we believe everyone is entitled to the highest
quality home and institutional health care. Our company’s hallmarks
are:
Strong
Management: Each patient’s
care is managed utilizing a team approach. The Unlimited Care professional
team addresses not only the physical but also the cognitive, mental health,
social interaction, job and working capacities of the patient. For over 25
years our management philosophy has not changed. We continue to focus on
detail while continually looking for ways of delivering the highest quality
services to patients we are privileged to care for.
We pride ourselves on offering capable, compassionate service.
Accessibility: We have 18 branches, in New York and New Jersey,
available to answer queries and requests 365 days a year, 24 hours a day.
Dependability: Valuing stability as essential to an
organization’s success, we foster an environment remarkable for staff retention,
with negligible turnover. We offer employees sound human resource management,
including job orientation and regular evaluation (after the first three
months and annually), as well as professional development opportunities
through testing and in-service training. We can even provide patients in the
Metro area, a nursing staff with second language capabilities!
As we have expanded over the past 25
years, we have been careful to maintain standards. Thus we comply with all
federal and state standards for health care management. All our branches are
accredited and licensed by the Joint Commission on the Accreditation of
Healthcare Organizations; those in New Jersey are also accredited by the
Commission on Accreditation for Home Care.
Flexibility: Because we offer in-home care, in-facility care,
and staffing for hospitals and nursing homes, we can help patients bridge
difficult transitions from institutional to home care or vice versa. We offer
registered and licensed practical nurses, physical and occupational
therapists, certified home health and personal care aides—available
full-time, part-time, to live in, or to work on weekends.
Since providing home and institutional
care is our only business, we focus a great deal of our attention on both new
technologies and new ways of rendering care to our patients. We offer our
employees training in specialties of increasing or critical importance such
as AIDS, Alzheimer’s, mental health care, brain injury, and infusion
therapies.
Accountability: To support our quality services, we use state-of-the-art computer
systems. Our sophisticated systems assist on a daily basis in evaluating each
patient’s progress and ongoing care needs.
